The bed was very comfortable The staff were great The location was great

Room temp never quite reached our desired level Demolition going on right opposite our room ….started at 8pm and went on all day Would have appreciated a warning about this or a better room further away or a reduction in price due to this inconvenience

Staff were brilliant. Hotel was busy but quiet.

Parking- we were charged the wrong amount despite having the stamp from the hotel and there was no attendant at the car park to ask

Excellent at what they do. Upper end Lodge.

Asked for 2-rooms next to each other 3 months in advance - managed to get 2 at opposite ends of the same fllor. Not in a great area, but then that was never part of the deal

Check in fine. Room good. Dinner and breakfast very good.

No heating in room when we arrived. Room was cold. This was rectified by giving us a portable heater.

Very close to East Croydon train station and BoxPark. Clean and quiet room.

Room was dated and it was very expensive for what it was.

The staff first of all is AMAZING. We were able to check in around 11am since there was a room available. Big room, great view, the beds are so good and comfortable. Breakfast was good, not too much but had everything you would need and any request was no issue. Very close to the train station (approximately a 5 min walk in 1 straight line) with a supermarket on the very same road. In 15 min you are at Gatwick or at London Victoria so connection to the city is amazing!

Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of hot and cold food. Our room was a bit on the small size, (915) but adequate for the two of us, plenty of hot water, on the upside there were tea/coffee making facilities, and an iron and ironing board, but no fridge,

Nothing, everything was as expected.

Rooms were comfortable.

No parking and that you have to go through a tunnel to get to the nearest parking amenity. The breakfast area was too small for the size of the hotel and breakfast was limited, no vegetarian options as such and no alternatives.

Inside the room excellent including bed, pillows heating bathroom. Reception staff, breakfast//dinning staff excellent.

Was in Rm 522. Room overlooking the rear. Did not like the room being at the end ofmthencorridor opposite the fire exit. One housekeeping staff that came to clean my room seemed unfriendly and the others i had to ask for help did not speak English. Didn't get the impression there was meant to be 'service with a smile' from this team

Jurys Inn Croydon has been refurbished recently (stayed Dec 2019) and the rooms are very good. Lots of space, nicely decorated, stylish furnishings, large flat screen TV. Staff all excellent. A tram stop is around the corner - one direction only, but the next stop is East Croydon station (a minute away on the tram) and from there you can pick up regular trams towards Wimbledon). Walking to/from East Croydon takes 6-10 minutes. East Croydon has regular trains to central London, Gatwick and various south coast locations (eg Brighton). Croydon has some very good restaurants, but, for me, none of them are located close to the centre. However, next to East Croydon station is Boxpark - wide variety of options (including an excellent vegan doner from What the Pitta) to takeaway or have in the central bench/table area (there's a bar if you fancy a beer). Between the hotel and East Croydon you'll find a Sainsbury's and a Waitrose plus a few interesting food stalls. If you must, there's a Burger King at East Croydon. The hotel has its own restaurant - think upmarket Wetherspoons menu. A few minutes walk from the hotel you'll find excellent shopping, and there's a cinema too.

If I had to come up with a quibble it would be that I may not be able to book this hotel for my parents - they need a walk-in shower rather than a bath/shower combo. However, to be fair, I haven't checked if they have rooms with walk-in showers.

The bed was comfy. The greeting staff were lovely The security lady was nice. Dark room in the morning

Being woken up by cleaners at 8.30. The heavy keys/door from the cleaning room on the 9th floor next to my room.

In a great location to the Station and very close to the shopping centre in case you need something. Loads of places for bars and restaurants nearby including Boxpark. Front of house Staff were very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping were also very helpful too. Kettle, tea and coffee supplied along with tow, ironing board and iron which was very handy. Nice sized Bed and bathroom. TV was a good size.

The only thing Is a guide to the heating /air conditioning would be handy.

Everything. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, great location with very accessible transport links. Great value for money.

Nothing I didn’t dislike about the property but the one problem is parking.

many healthy options on breakfast

Was not able to leave 150g sealed, packaged cheese (for a present!)in a fridge somewhere overnight. Apparently due to contamination reasons, which is untrue!

The bed was extremely comfortable. Iron and ironing board were very useful.

Very disappointed with the croissants and pain au chocolat. They were ‘heavy’ Rather than light and crispy. No marmite!
